A solo exhibition by Cho Chang-hwan. He visually manifests “breath” — the essential element of life — through the “spatialization of time.” Using a single Lespedeza stalk, he layers strokes one by one onto the canvas, mirroring the ceaseless rhythm of respiration. This exhibition presents his SOOM (Breath) series in Inverell.
조창환 작가의 개인전이다. 생명의 본질적인 요소인 “숨”을 시각적으로 구현하는 작업을 선보인다. 전통 빗자루에서 고른 한 가닥의 싸리나무를 도구로 삼아, 한 올 한 올을 화면 위에 쌓아올리는 ‘숨(SOOM)’ 시리즈를 인버렐에서 만나볼 수 있다.
