A solo exhibition by Cho Chang-hwan. He visually manifests “breath” — the essential element of life — through the “spatialization of time.” Using a single Lespedeza stalk, he layers strokes one by one onto the canvas, mirroring the ceaseless rhythm of respiration. This exhibition presents his SOOM (Breath) series in Inverell.
조창환 작가의 개인전. 작가는 생명의 근본인 ‘숨’을 눈에 보이는 형태로 옮긴다. 전통 빗자루에서 고른 싸리나무 한 가닥으로 물감을 한 올씩 쌓아 올린 ‘숨(SOOM)’ 연작을 인버렐에서 선보인다.
